WAAV meets the third Wednesday of each month at WCAT Studios located at 24 Hemlock Road at 8:30am.
I am the current President of Wakefield Alliance Against Violence. I welcome you to our description of WAAV here. We are a nonprofit, all volunteer based group (25 members) working to combat violence, especially intimate partner violence, in our community. I invite you to join us at a Board Meeting held the third Wednesday of each month at 24 Hemlock Road, Wakefield (WCAT Studios).
WAAV has dedicated a memorial bench to those we have lost to intimate partner violence in Wakefield. It is located on the lower common on Church Street facing Lake Quannapowitt. You will often notice there are flowers on it in remembrance of those lost. It is our hope an individual suffering from abuse will know they are not alone and there is help out there.
I want to thank the community sponsors of our race. We are so lucky to have the community backing us.
If you would like to donate you can do so by clicking on the “Donate” tab on this website.
